What's Happening

On September 1, 2026, Jan De Nul's heavy-lift vessel Les Alizes installed the first of 53 monopile foundations, 53 km off the Dutch coast in the Hollandse Kust West zone. Each monopile is roughly 90 meters long and 8 meters in diameter, supplied by Sif and transported from its Maasvlakte II facility near Rotterdam. Bubble curtain technology is being used during piling to limit underwater noise. The foundation campaign is expected to run through early 2027.

NEXT MILESTONE — Inter-array cable installation (114 km total, via DEME) starts late 2026, followed by turbine installation throughout 2027 using Jan De Nul's jack-up vessel Voltaire.
